Old Dogs & New Tricks Debuts to Enthusiastic Response

Old Dogs & New Tricks, the new web series written & created by Leon Acord and developed for the web and directed by Arvin Bautista, premiered July 30 to an enthusiastic audience in West Hollywood, as well as online with incredible feedback!



Cast, crew and friends gathered at Plaisir, the West Hollywood French bakery which doubled as a nightclub in the pilot's opening scene, to watch the pilot.  The overwhelming reaction?  "We want more!"  

Meanwhile, over 375 viewers have watched the pilot since it simultaneously debuted on YouTube and our website.  Read their comments HERE

Please rate, comment and subscribe on our YouTube Channel.  Our upcoming first season depends on how many & how quickly viewers watch and respond.  Producers hope to use the pilot to raise funds for a 10-episode first season in time to shoot before the end of the year.

Leon on David Cruz's 'Finding Cupid' Radio Show July 26

Leon will appear on David Cruz's web radio show Finding Cupid on Tuesday, July 26 at 2pm to talk about Leon's upcoming web series Old Dogs & New Tricks.

Finding Cupid is a talk show for "hopeful romantics and wayward lovers alike." Host David Cruz is "on a mission to remind people how to love again”.  Leon will talk about OD&NT's characters' search for love in middle age.

 
The radio show is broadcast by Global Voice Broadcasting on its website at gvbradio.com. The show will repeat that evening at 7pm and will also be available as a free podcast via iTunes.
